I am a freelance writer/community news reporter/blogger. Served as a reporter/columnist/editor for 16 years before a debilitating illness in 2014. I love writing, reading, baseball, crosswords, newspapers, music, OTR, watching classic movies/TV, traveling, the Oxford comma, and listening. As soon as my health fully improves, I plan to return to work at a digital media outlet, finish a work of narrative nonfiction, and begin a novel.
